Abstract
The spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP) is very grave complication in cirrhosis, and early diagnosis and treatment is crucial for good management. 2) The mean value of WBC and PMN in ascitic fluid were 3,587 cell/mm3 and 3,156 cell/mm3) Ascitic fluid culture was positive only 1 case for Klebsiella pneumoniae. 4) The management of SBP were Ampicillin+GM or cephalosporin+GM.
